Cell Phone Disaster!

The Brave, Little "Mob" (British Slang for Cell Phone)
Tuesday night, i slept over a Tildee's house. After a great day of Saint Patrick's Day fun, we decided to hang out till Wednesday. That Wednesday we had no school because of a stupid teacher conference, so we made plans to go to the Aquarium! But I'll save that crazy story for another blog post! Anyway, Tildee and i went out for a walk to go climb the "climbing tree" by duck pond (the same place/spot where ducks ate my homework... see my first few posts!). On our way home, we were totally out of it because we were tired, hungry, and freezing cold! We were jumping around, giggling, as we made it to her house. Later that night, we were going to call up some more people to go for a midnight Starbucks run! But my Cellular Device was nowhere to be found! For an hour and a half we looked for my cell phone. All around her house, outside, everywhere! It was really dark, but Tildee decided to look outside. With a flashlight and rain boots on, Tildee was set outside on a mission to find the Lost Phone of Byron Lane. She was looking in the side of the road when she spotted something small, ovular and kinda shiny. Finally, we thought we had made some progress, in our search! But when she ran up close to it, it was just a leaf. We gave up, hoping it would magically show up later. But of course it didn't. Wednesday night, it rained. Well, more like poured! We completely forgot about the phone! 15 minutes ago, i got a call from Tildee! She said there was good news and bad news. First off, she found my cell! She said that on her way home, she saw my phone about 3 yards away from where the leaf was! Bummer, we were so close! The Bad news? Well, my phone had been sitting outside, in the street, for two days. The rain had clearly gotten to it, and the chances for survival are slim. Did i forget to mention that it got run over by a car too? Well, the antenna is completely gone, probably stuck inside a rubber tire. This phone is totally hopeless! BUT, Tildee blow dried it for a while, turned it on, and it was like an explosion! An explosion of amazing-ness, that is! IT WORKS, it still works! What are the odds? Well now i have a deranged looking phone, and a fantastic survival story that comes with it! I still don't have the phone now, but i hope i will get it tomorrow! I'll post some pictures, ASAP!
